Role Overview
The Examination Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, administering, and supporting the smooth conduct of internal and external examinations and assessments.
The role supports KS3 and KS4 examinations and works with school leadership, teachers, students, parents, examination boards, and administrative staff.
Role Details
- Department: Academic / Administration.
- Reports to the Principal, Vice Principal, or Head of Secondary.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Work location: In person.
Planning and Coordination
- Prepare and maintain the annual examination calendar and schedule.
- Coordinate internal, mock, and external examinations and prepare examination timetables.
- Arrange examination rooms, seating, invigilation schedules, resources, and coordination with academic departments.
- Monitor examination deadlines and ensure required tasks are completed on time.
External Examinations
- Coordinate registrations for Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, OxfordAQA, or other relevant examination boards.
