- Establish, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy
- Develop and manage portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and executive level reporting
- Monitor project performance, risks, issues, and dependencies, providing actionable insights
- Drive prioritization of projects to maximize ROI and strategic impact
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple projects
- Ensure compliance with PMO processes, templates, and documentation standards
- Lead lessons learned initiatives and continuous improvement of PMO functions
- Support event operations team to increase organizational visibility on all updates
- Act as a key liaison between the event operations department and all other departments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- PMP certification required
- 3 7+ years in project/program management with at least 2 years in a PMO leadership or managerial role
- Proven track record of establishing or maturing PMOs in complex organizations
- Strong experience in portfolio management, governance, and executive reporting
- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Clarity PPM, Smartsheet, Power BI)

Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Event Operations Excellence Manager for our event operations project Management Office to drive excellence in project, program, and portfolio delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (required).
- Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related field (preferred).
- PMP certification required.
- PgMP or PfMP certification preferred.
- Agile certifications (PMI ACP, SAFe, CSM, or PSM) a plus.
- ITIL Foundation or COBIT desirable.
- 3 7+ years in project/program management with at least 2 years in a PMO leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of establishing or maturing PMOs in complex organizations.
- Strong experience in portfolio management, governance, and executive reporting.
- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Clarity PPM, Smartsheet, Power BI).
