Role Overview
Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows and ETL processes using Informatica tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders and data professionals to ensure data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded into target systems.
Experience and Technical Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on Informatica development experience in data integration environments.
- Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter and other Informatica tools.
- Strong Informatica IDMC experience, including complex data flows and data quality solutions.
- Knowledge of SQL, advanced SQL, data warehousing, database design, and database querying.
- Advanced Java programming skills, including Java and custom transformations.
- Experience with partitioning, pushdown optimization, caching strategies, and database performance tuning.
- Experience with APIs, web services, connectors, and modern data engineering practices.
- Relevant Informatica certifications are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Create ETL program specifications and develop Informatica mappings to meet business requirements.
- Test and debug ETL processes to ensure performance and functionality.
- Perform system checks and resolve potential issues.
- Document ETL processes for future reference and upgrades.
- Collaborate with data professionals to resolve coding issues and optimize performance.
- Train and support end users on data integration workflows.
- Follow data governance standards and assist with upgrades, installations, and maintenance.
