Experienced Estimator And Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, and shop drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Perform quantity take-offs for stone, marble, granite, engineered stone, and fit-out works.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Analyze project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, variations, and revised pricing proposals.
• Monitor project costs, margins, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and installation teams to ensure accurate material and labor planning.
• Assist in contract administration and valuation of variations.
• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings when required.
• Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications and company standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in stone, marble, granite, or interior fit-out estimation.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, costing, and BOQ preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of natural stone(marble ,travertine ,limestone and quartzite) fabrication and installation processes.
• Understanding of UAE construction market rates and supplier network.
