- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed quotations for joinery and interior fit out projects
- Perform quantity take offs and material calculations
- Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Analyze project requirements, labor, materials, machinery, and overhead costs
- Prepare tender submissions within specified deadlines
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments to clarify project requirements
- Maintain and update estimating databases, material pricing, and cost records
- Identify cost saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Assist with project handovers to the production and project management teams
- Monitor market trends and material price fluctuations
