Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery and fit out projects, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and client requirements to calculate materials, labor, and production time
- Analyze bids, obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Coordinate with design, production, and project management teams
- Update cost databases and pricing models
- Prepare BOQs, value engineering options, and clear estimate reports
- Support proposals and tenders
- Ensure estimates align with Tripod Global’s quality and profitability standards
- Participate in site visits when needed, verify measurements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and cost controls
Requirements
- Strong joinery and fit out estimating skills, including experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, CAD details, and specifications
- Proficiency in cost analysis and budgeting, with the ability to prepare BOQs, compare quotations, and perform value engineering
- Knowledge of materials, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes relevant to high end joinery and retail fit out
- Comfort using estimating or ERP software, spreadsheets, and digital tools to maintain pricing databases and produce accurate cost breakdowns
- Effective collaboration skills to work closely with design, production, procurement, and project management teams
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy under time constraints
- Relevant experience in joinery, interior fit out, or construction estimating; luxury retail or international projects experience is an advantage
- Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work on site in Riyadh and conduct occasional site visits or factory walk throughs as required
- Professional communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus
