Role Overview
The employer is seeking an Estimator with strong experience in events, exhibitions, temporary structures, fabrication, or experiential projects.
The role converts creative concepts and technical requirements into accurate, commercially competitive project estimates and BOQs.
The position is based in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and quotations for events, exhibitions, activations, and temporary installations.
- Review client briefs, drawings, designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Identify material, fabrication, manpower, AV, logistics, graphics, installation, and other project cost requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Creative, Procurement, and Project Management teams to clarify scope.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Maintain updated rates for materials, labour, fabrication, and third-party services.
- Identify potential cost-saving alternatives and support value-engineering exercises.
- Review scope changes and prepare revised costing where required.
- Maintain costing databases, vendor rates, and historical project information.
- Conduct post-project cost comparisons to improve future estimating accuracy.
