Overview
We, at Emarat Aloula is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Estimation Engineer – Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I
) to support tendering and cost estimation activities for ongoing and upcoming EPC infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering, with hands-on experience in preparing accurate estimates and tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for Electronics & Instrumentation scope of works
- Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for electronics, instrumentation, and automation systems
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to obtain technical and commercial inputs
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare technical/commercial comparisons
- Prepare RFQs, cost breakdowns, and estimation reports
- Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost optimization measures
- Support bid clarification meetings and technical discussions with clients and consultants
- Maintain updated records of market rates, suppliers, and historical cost data
- Ensure estimates comply with project specifications, standards, and company procedures
