Job Description
- We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Estimation Engineer in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates for engineering and construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQ, and tender documents.
- Calculate material, manpower, equipment, and subcontracting costs.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations.
- Prepare technical and commercial estimation reports.
- Support tender submissions and project costing activities.
- Maintain estimation records and cost comparison sheets.
Required Skills
- Estimation: Ability to prepare accurate project cost estimates.
- BOQ: Experience in quantity takeoff and bill preparation.
- Tendering: Knowledge of tender documentation and submission.
- Cost Analysis: Ability to compare vendor rates and project costs.
- Technical Drawings: Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Work Experience & Education
- Typical: 3–7 years of relevant experience in estimation, costing, BOQ preparation, or tendering for engineering/construction projects.
- Minimum: Typical Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering field.
- Preferred: Certification in Estimation / Quantity Surveying.
- Additional: AutoCAD / MS Excel / estimation software knowledge preferred.
