Role
The role combines estimation, procurement, and billing responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs and analyse subcontractor and vendor quotations.
- Prepare quick cost estimates for proposals under tight deadlines.
- Review material and labour costs and prepare evaluations and comparisons.
- Prepare quotation invitation documents for vendors and contractors.
- Negotiate prices and delivery terms with subcontractors and material vendors.
- Oversee procurement according to the project schedule.
- Select suppliers and verify unit rates and delivery timelines.
- Check and prepare purchase orders.
- Prepare payment schedules with the site supervisor based on site progress.
- Finalize accounts during final measurement.
- Track and update cost estimates as projects progress.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management.
- Knowledge of commercial interior design projects.
- Two years of estimation, procurement, and billing experience is preferred.
Software Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and MS Project.
