Role overview
Prepare estimates, quotations, and cost controls for interior fit-out and furniture projects.
The role requires 1–3 years of experience and coordination across commercial, design, procurement, production, and project teams.
Estimation and costing
- Study architectural, interior, and shop drawings to understand project requirements.
- Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, item-wise costing, project cost sheets, and commercial comparison statements.
- Calculate material, hardware, accessory, labour, installation, transportation, wastage, and overhead costs.
- Prepare rate analysis for major and critical items.
Quotations and procurement
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations from project drawings and specifications.
- Analyse client BOQs and identify missing, excess, or unclear items.
- Coordinate with Purchase on current material and vendor rates.
- Compare vendor quotations and maintain updated rate databases.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality.
