Electrical Engineer

• Monitor electricians, technicians, subcontractors, and electrical vendors at the site.
• Check workmanship and ensure installations comply with approved drawings and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify electrical issues or deviations.
• Ensure proper material usage and minimize wastage.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts.
• Coordinate with the design/technical team for drawing revisions and site requirements.
• Prepare material requirements, measurement sheets, checklists, and site reports.
• Maintain records of electrical installations, testing, and commissioning.

• Prepare electrical material requirements based on BOQ and drawings.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of materials.
• Verify material specifications and quantities received at site.
• Control material wastage and ensure economical utilization.

• Inspect electrical installations before energizing.
• Conduct or coordinate testing of cables, circuits, DBs, lighting, and power systems.
• Rectify defects and ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure work meets applicable electrical standards and project specifications.

• Follow electrical safety procedures and company/site safety rules.
• Ensure proper PPE is used by electrical workers.
• Identify electrical hazards and take corrective action.
• Ensure safe isolation, testing, and energization procedures are followed.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Designers, Production, Purchase, Stores, contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on electrical work progress.
• Coordinate electrical requirements with other project activities to avoid delays.

• Good knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts.
• Knowledge of lighting and power distribution systems.
• Knowledge of DBs, MCBs, MCCBs, cables, conduits, earthing, and electrical accessories.
• Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
• Good site supervision and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• AutoCAD knowledge will be an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project activities and meet deadlines.

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: 2–6 years of relevant experience in electrical projects, commercial interiors, retail fit-outs, construction, or related industries.

• Completion of electrical works as per project schedule.
• Quality and accuracy of electrical installations.
• Reduction of rework and material wastage.
• Compliance with electrical safety requirements.
• Timely resolution of site electrical issues.
• Effective coordination with other departments and contractors.
• Adherence to approved drawings, BOQ, and project specifications.
• Customer/consultant satisfaction.

The candidate should be technically strong, responsible, and comfortable working at project sites.

in commercial interiors, retail fit-outs, showrooms, offices, or turnkey projects will be preferred.

The candidate should be willing to coordinate with workers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
