Overview
AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager for a site supervision consultancy team overseeing major building and hospitality developments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role ensures compliance with project environmental requirements, Saudi regulations, client standards, and international best practices throughout all project phases.
The position leads environmental management systems, inspections, audits, risk management, contractor guidance, and sustainable construction activities.
Your role
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project's Environmental Management Plan in accordance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi environmental legislation, municipal regulations, permit requirements, and client environmental standards.
- Monitor contractor compliance with environmental obligations, specifications, and approved environmental management procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and environmental assessments to identify risks and non-compliance issues.
- Review contractor environmental method statements, risk assessments, and environmental control measures.
- Monitor waste, air quality, dust, noise and vibration, water, hazardous materials, and pollution prevention.
- Lead investigations into environmental incidents, complaints, and non-conformances and ensure corrective actions.
