Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Doha, Qatar, for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist.
The role involves implementing and monitoring workplace safety measures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting safety training programs, and promoting best practices in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
The Specialist will also perform regular inspections, assess occupational health risks, and recommend improvements to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices
- Experience in Occupational Health and Workplace Safety standards
- Proficiency in developing and conducting Safety Training sessions
- Knowledge of local and international safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field
- Relevant EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams
