Role overview
AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Transportation Engineer for its Tucson, Arizona team.
The position is expected to start in Fall 2026.
The role develops engineering design and analytical skills under the supervision of experienced engineers.
Job responsibilities
- Build analytical and engineering design skills.
- Conduct engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
- Collect and analyze data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Use computer software to solve basic engineering problems.
- Perform work in accordance with agreed budgets and schedules under supervision.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Preferred qualifications
- General understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation through coursework, projects, or an internship.
