Role Overview
The Enterprise Architect defines, governs, and evolves enterprise technology strategy, target architecture, and engineering architecture standards.
The role aligns technology investments with scalability, security, resilience, cost efficiency, and long-term platform modernization goals.
The position works with engineering, product, DevOps, QA, security, data, vendor, and business stakeholders.
Architecture Strategy and Governance
- Define the enterprise architecture vision, target-state architecture, and multi-year technology roadmap.
- Establish principles, standards, patterns, and reference architectures across application, integration, data, infrastructure, cloud, security, and observability.
- Lead architecture governance forums, design review boards, and technical decision-making processes.
- Review solution blueprints, HLD/LLD documents, C4 models, UML diagrams, deployment views, integration flows, and API specifications.
Cloud, Integration, and Modernization
- Develop cloud architecture strategy across Azure, AWS, and GCP, covering landing zones, networking, identity, compute, storage, databases, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and managed services.
