Enterprise Application Architect

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of Enterprise Application Architecture.
• Translate business needs into enterprise technology and solution architecture requirements.
• Develop and drive technology strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze existing IT environments and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead technology innovation initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Develop business capability and technology roadmaps.
• Establish and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance.
• Oversee architecture implementation, technology selection, and standardization.
• Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, business, and IT teams.
• Assess technology investments, risks, organizational impact, and cost opportunities.
• Communicate architecture strategy, value, outcomes, and recommendations to business and IT leadership.
• Lead and mentor teams while facilitating consensus and effective decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of IT experience across at least two IT disciplines.
• 7–10 years of experience in business analysis and/or business strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of TOGAF and Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Experience with business and technology capability mapping.
• Strong understanding of technical, application, infrastructure, and network architecture.
• Knowledge of service-oriented analysis and design.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and technical skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Experience in vendor and customer/client management.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
