About the Role
GEMS Education is seeking an experienced English Teacher for upper primary in Dubai. The role requires a Bachelor's/Master's in English and B.Ed, with 4 years of teaching experience in CBSE & IGCSE curriculum.

- Deliver the required curriculum; demonstrating accurate and up to date knowledge of curriculum and subject matter
- Plan and deliver quality lessons to motivate students
- Create and utilize appropriate materials and the classroom environment to cater for different learning styles
- Establish and maintain records of curriculum and year plans, attendance, teaching resources, assessment plans etc.
- Assess, record and report on the academic development, progress and attainment of students
- Use assessment to ensure the curriculum meets the individual student’s needs
- Promote the general progress and well being of students
- Provide guidance to students on educational matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in English and B.Ed (Distance and Open University not accepted)
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in CBSE & IGCSE curriculum
- UAE experience preferred
- IT skills and interpersonal communication skills

Job Description
