Position Summary
Perform painting, surface preparation, finishing, and related property maintenance work in a hotel environment.
The position is full time, non-management, and not remote.
Painting and Finishing Duties
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture with brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
- Apply primers and sealers before finish coats.
- Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or water and abrasive blasting.
- Protect surfaces during painting and post appropriate paint signs.
- Clean and store painting tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors to modify paint, stain, or varnish colors.
Safety and Guest Service
- Follow company, safety, and security policies and report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries.
- Complete safety training and certifications and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
- Support team goals and maintain quality expectations and standards.
- Perform physical work including ladder use, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.
