The role
As an Engineering Support Operative, you'll play an important role in supporting frontline waterfront operations at one of the UK's most strategically significant defence sites. Working within a fast-paced engineering and operational environment, you'll provide multi-skilled support across a variety of activities that help ensure vessels, equipment, and waterfront facilities remain operational, safe, and mission ready.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
Supporting waterfront operations to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to schedule.
Following established procedures and safe systems of work while maintaining the highest operational standards.
Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and productivity.
Working in accordance with health, safety and environmental requirements across the site.
Performing a variety of operational and engineering support activities within your skills, training and capability
This role is full time, 36 hours per week, based on site at HM Naval Base Clyde. Set working times are Monday to Thursday, 36 hours per week.

Experience of waterfront, marine, maritime, engineering, industrial or operational support activities.
Knowledge of standard operating procedures and safe working practices.
