Parsons Corporation is seeking an Engineering Manager for Roads, Civils & Structures in Riyadh to lead multi-disciplinary engineering activities on road and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for roads, civils, and structural engineering across assigned projects or programs
- Define and implement engineering standards, procedures, and best practices
- Act as senior technical authority for key civil/structural engineering decisions
- Plan and manage engineering activities from concept through detailed design and IFC
- Coordinate inputs from internal teams and external consultants
- Ensure integration of road alignments, junctions, pavements, drainage, and structures with adjacent infrastructure
- Oversee development and review of key deliverables including alignments, profiles, typical sections, general arrangement drawings, structural designs, and calculations
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and guidelines
- Establish and manage technical review and checking processes
- Lead or participate in technical assurance activities including HAZID, constructability reviews, and value engineering workshops
- Work closely with project managers to define scope, schedule, resource requirements, and key engineering milestones
- Support construction teams with technical clarifications, responses to RFIs, and resolution of site issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or closely related discipline
- 10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering for roads and infrastructure projects
- Strong technical background in highway geometry, earthworks, drainage, and structural design for bridges and related structures
- Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Transportation, or related field (preferred)
- Chartered/Professional Engineer status (preferred)
- Experience working for a consultant, contractor, or client organization on major highways or infrastructure programs (preferred)
- Familiarity with BIM processes and common data environments for infrastructure projects (preferred)

Job Description
- The Engineering Manager – Roads, Civils & Structures is responsible for leading and coordinating all civil and structural engineering activities across road and infrastructure projects.
- The role oversees multi‑disciplinary design and technical delivery from concept through detailed design, construction support, and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for roads, civils, and structural engineering across assigned projects or programs.
- Define and implement engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Act as the senior technical authority or escalation point for key civil/structural engineering decisions.
- Ensure designs incorporate safety in design, durability, maintainability, and whole‑life cost considerations.
- Plan and manage engineering activities for roads, civils, and structures from concept through detailed design and IFC.
- Coordinate inputs from internal teams and external consultants.
- Ensure integration of road alignments, junctions, pavements, drainage, and structures with adjacent infrastructure.
- Oversee the development and review of key deliverables.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and guidelines.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Transportation, or related field.

- Experience working for a consultant, contractor, or client organization on major highways, urban roads, or infrastructure programs.
- Familiarity with BIM processes and common data environments for infrastructure projects.
