About the Team and Role
The Creative team manages StackAdapt's creative pipeline, including creative serving, dynamic selection, approval and audit workflows, and complex business rules.
The team builds Golang software services handling millions of requests per second with a 100-millisecond SLA.
The role is remote first and open to candidates located anywhere in Canada or the United States.
What You Will Do
- Lead a backend engineering team, support execution, and remove blockers.
- Deliver roadmap milestones through scoped sprints and early risk escalation.
- Run agile rituals and monitor sprint health, workload balance, and commitments.
- Conduct one-to-ones, provide feedback, and support engineer growth plans.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions while upholding coding and testing standards.
- Coordinate dependencies with Bidding, Data Science, and Product.
- Support incident resolution and the team's on-call rotation through root-cause follow-up.
- Participate in interviews, hiring feedback, and onboarding.
- Encourage approved AI tooling to improve team velocity.
- Foster trust, transparency, and technical excellence.
