Role Overview
The Engineering Manager – Electrical BESS leads electrical engineering and technical design for BESS projects integrated with utility-scale and commercial or industrial solar PV projects.
The role covers concept and system architecture, detailed engineering, procurement support, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
The position is responsible for technically sound, safe, compliant, commercially optimized designs aligned with schedules and EPC execution requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering is required.
- The posting requires 8–12 years of experience.
- The candidate should have expertise in primary and secondary engineering for substation projects and GIS or AIS substations up to 500 kV.
- Experience in PV or BESS plant engineering and AIS substation engineering is preferred.
Engineering and Project Leadership
- Plan, schedule, assign, and prioritize work to meet specifications and schedules.
- Review engineering documents and coordinate local adaptation, translation, and compliance with local standards.
