Responsibilities
- Responder y atender las solicitudes de reparaciones de los huéspedes.
- Comunicarse con los huéspedes/clientes para resolver problemas de mantenimiento con poca o ninguna supervisión.
- Realizar mantenimiento preventivo en herramientas y equipo, incluyendo limpieza y lubricación.
- Inspeccionar visualmente las herramientas, el equipo o las máquinas.
- Transportar equipos (por ej., herramientas, radio).
- Identificar, localizar y operar todas las válvulas de cierre para el equipo.
- Llevar un inventario de mantenimiento y solicitar piezas y suministros según sea necesario.
- Asegurarse de comunicar las actividades y problemas de cada día a los empleados de los otros turnos.
- Demostrar aptitud avanzada para leer planos básicos y diagramas eléctricos relacionados con plomería y sistemas de HVAC.
- Demostrar aptitud superior al promedio en operaciones de ingeniería y aptitud sólida para mecánica general.
- Demostrar buena aptitud en al menos tres categorías técnicas (aire acondicionado, electricidad, mecánica, plomería, etc.).
- Realizar con seguridad reparaciones altamente complejas de propiedad física, sistemas eléctricos, plomería y mecánicos.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical training preferred.
- Related work experience: Extensive experience in general maintenance, electricity, or refrigeration; inventory and ordering parts; surface preparation and painting.
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
- Supervisory experience: None required.
- License or certification: Valid driver's license; Universal CFC certification; must meet state and federal certification requirements.
