Job Description
Design and develop sheet metal enclosures for Power and UPS applications.
Work with design engineers and cross-functional teams to develop prototype units and factory documentation.
Follow NPDI gate processes and support pilot lots and shopfloor issues.
Location
- The role is based at the Ambernath factory and includes visits to suppliers and the manufacturing plant.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7-8 years of relevant work experience.
- Good knowledge of sheet metal design and sheet metal working processes.
- Knowledge of 3D design and 2D drafting using CREO or another CAD software.
- Ability to deliver manufacturing drawings and documents with speed and accuracy.
- Experience designing sheet metal enclosures for indoor applications.
- Knowledge of enclosure design for dust and water Ingress Protection.
Desirable Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with sheet metal prototype development.
- Knowledge of busbar design considerations.
