- Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform using client scripts, business rules, UI policies
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements
- Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub and MID server
- Connect ServiceNow with third party systems (e.g., Monitoring system, HR system)
- Build orchestration and automated workflows to improve process efficiency
- Develop scoped applications using App Engine Studio, Now Create, etc.
- Create custom tables, forms, and workflows
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues
- Train stakeholders and solution requestors on how to effectively use the developed solutions
- Ensure compliance with security standards and corporate policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' hands on experience in a technical ServiceNow developer role
- Strong hands on experience with ServiceNow development
- Advanced technical understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID server
- Experience developing scoped applications using App Engine Studio, Now Create, etc.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM, CIS ITOM) are highly desirable

Overview
- Space42 (ADX: SPACE42) is a UAE based AI powered SpaceTech company that integrates satellite communications, geospatial analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities to enlighten the Earth from space.
- The Engineer is responsible for design, development and implementation of solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules (ex. ESC, ITSM, IRM, BCM) and other platform capabilities (ex. App Engine, Now Assist).
- The purpose of this role is to ensure that all requests for features and functionality on ServiceNow are delivered according to best practice, are documented for future maintenance and improvement, and that user instructions are provided for end user training.
Development And Configuration
- Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform using client scripts, business rules, UI policies.
- Develop using standard ServiceNow tools, ex. Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, UI Builder, Now Create.
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
- Maintain and update the platform as needed.
Integration And Automation
- Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub and MID server.
- Connect ServiceNow with third party systems, ex. Monitoring system, HR system etc.
- Build orchestration and automated workflows to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure seamless data flow between the ServiceNow platform and other systems.
Custom Application Development
- Develop scoped applications using App Engine Studio, Now Create etc.
- Create custom tables, forms, and workflows.
- Build end to end business solutions beyond out of the box modules.
Testing And Deployment
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Good experience in deploying update sets and handling conflicts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
User Training And Support
- Train stakeholders and solution requestors on how to effectively use the developed solutions.
- Develop user guides and training materials.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to platform users.
Compliance And Security
- Ensure the developed solutions comply with relevant security standards and regulations.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data within the platform.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify trends and recurring issues to implement preventive measures.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM, CIS ITOM) are highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' hands on experience in a technical ServiceNow developer role.
