Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations, soil sampling, and geotechnical testing to gather and analyze engineering data
- Perform geotechnical calculations, modeling, and analysis to support foundation design, slope stability assessments, and ground improvement recommendations
- Develop detailed geotechnical reports, design calculations, and technical specifications for projects
- Collaborate with civil, structural, and other engineering disciplines to integrate geotechnical solutions into broader project designs
- Utilize CAD software and specialized geotechnical analysis tools to create drawings, models, and visualizations
- Conduct field supervision and monitoring activities, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective approaches
- Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and resource plans in accordance with agreed upon budgets and timelines
- Stay current with advancements in geotechnical engineering technology, methodologies, and industry best practices
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Support senior engineers on complex geotechnical assignments while developing your technical expertise
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD
- Familiarity with geotechnical analysis software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools)
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical engineering principles
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, regulations, and local geotechnical requirements (preferred)
- Experience with site investigations, soil testing, and field supervision (preferred)
- Professional Engineering License (PE) or commitment to pursuing licensure (preferred)

Job Description
- We're looking for a talented and detail oriented Engineer Geotechnical to join our dynamic engineering team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- You will contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of geotechnical solutions for a variety of infrastructure and construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations, soil sampling, and geotechnical testing to gather and analyze engineering data using established procedures and industry best practices.
- Perform geotechnical calculations, modeling, and analysis to support foundation design, slope stability assessments, and ground improvement recommendations.
- Develop detailed geotechnical reports, design calculations, and technical specifications for projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local UAE building codes and international standards.
- Collaborate with civil, structural, and other engineering disciplines to integrate geotechnical solutions into broader project designs.
- Utilize CAD software and specialized geotechnical analysis tools to create drawings, models, and visualizations that communicate design intent clearly.
- Conduct field supervision and monitoring activities, identifying discrepancies in results and proposing corrective approaches when new challenges arise.
- Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and resource plans in accordance with agreed upon budgets and timelines.
- Stay current with advancements in geotechnical engineering technology, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to project teams, clients, and stakeholders through written reports and presentations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field with a strong academic record.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, and familiarity with geotechnical analysis software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools).
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex geotechnical data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear technical reports and present findings to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environments and coordinate effectively across multiple disciplines.
- Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, regulations, and local geotechnical requirements (preferred).
- Experience with site investigations, soil testing, and field supervision (preferred).
- Professional Engineering License (PE) or commitment to pursuing licensure (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under moderate supervision.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work that meets project specifications and standards.
