- Support the Resident Engineer in supervising and managing construction of stormwater drainage networks, micro tunneling works, and associated civil structures
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures applicable to stormwater and microtunneling works
- Conduct and follow up on inspections for installations, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Monitor and review inspectors’ performance, ensuring effective supervision and documentation of site activities
- Update and report progress for all assigned works to the Resident Engineer / Project Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering with focus on infrastructure projects, specifically micro tunneling
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent; willingness to obtain UAE certification
- Strong technical competency in structural design, geotechnical engineering, and construction methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of DM regulations, approval workflows, and authority portals

Job Description
- Seeking a highly skilled and innovative Civil Engineer to join the team in Dubai.
- Support the Resident Engineer in supervising and managing construction of stormwater drainage networks, micro tunneling works, and associated civil structures.
- Ensure all activities are executed in compliance with contract requirements, approved drawings, specifications, and RTA/DM standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures applicable to stormwater and microtunneling works.
- Conduct and follow up on inspections for installations.
- Monitor and review inspectors’ performance.
- Update and report progress for all assigned works.
- Review and verify updated records for as built documentation.
- Check, verify, and coordinate for all assigned services including civil, structural, and MEP interfaces.
- Coordinate with Head Office design team for material submittal reviews and technical clarifications.
- Oversee and inspect construction activities for stormwater pipelines, microtunneling drives, shafts, manholes, etc.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards.
- Support Resident Engineer in resolving site related technical issues.
- Review and comment on contractors’ technical submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Assist in evaluation of contractors’ progress claims, variation proposals, and change requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent; willingness to obtain UAE certification.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering with focus on infrastructure projects, specifically micro tunneling.
- Proven track record of managing large scale engineering projects.
- Strong technical competency in structural design, geotechnical engineering, and construction methodologies.
- Extensive background in infrastructure works including roads, NDRC, utilities, drainage, and municipal services.
- Strong working knowledge of DM regulations, approval workflows, and authority portals.
