Short Description
Job Responsibilities 1.AOI (Automated optical inspection),SPI (Solder Paste Inspection),and AXI (Automated X-ray Inspection) machines System Optimisation: 30% 1.1 Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and tailor solutions accordingly 1.2 Analyse and optimize AOI, AXI & SPI machine settings and inspection algorithms to achieve accurate defect detection with minimum false calls 1.3 Conduct thorough testing and validation of AOI, AXI & SPI systems to ensure they meet or exceed performance expectations 1.4 Stay updated with the latest advancements in AOI, AXI & SPI technology, industry trends, and best practices 2.Customer Support: 30% 2.1 Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing their enquiries, concerns, and providing solutions to technical challenges 2.2 Provide training and guidance to customers' technical teams on the setup, operation, and maintenance of AOI/AXI/SPI systems 2.3 Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for AOI, AXI, and SPI systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful implementation. 3. Troubleshooting: 20% 3.1 Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to inspection systems, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime. 4. Documentation: 20% 4.1 Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, application notes, and troubleshooting guides. Job Requirements - B.E. or Equivalent Diploma - 3 to 5 years of experience in service field specifically with AOI, AXI, and SPI programming, installation & commissioning. - Strong understanding of SMT electronic manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies. - OMRON AOI/AXI/SPI product programming knowledge would be an added advantage - Experience with machine vision systems and image processing algorithms. - Familiarity with IPC standards and quality assurance practices. - Previous experience in a customer-facing role. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Sound knowledge in Reporting and Presentation - Customer-centric approach" - 50% Travel as per business needs Disclaimer
