Join Qualcomm's Generative AI team to integrate machine learning models with Qualcomm chipsets for efficient on-device inference.
The team develops software for large language and vision models using Qualcomm's heterogeneous computing capabilities and Snapdragon platforms.
The role supports machine learning solutions that can affect billions of devices worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Develop and commercialize machine learning solutions such as the Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine SDK on Qualcomm SoCs.
- Develop software features in Qualcomm's machine learning stack.
- Port AI/ML solutions to multiple platforms and optimize performance across CPU, GPU, and NPU accelerators.
- Deploy large C/C++ dependency stacks using software engineering best practices.
- Continuously improve the solution from software engineering and machine learning perspectives.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and handle planning, problem-solving, and prioritization.
Required qualifications
- One role variant states six or more years of relevant software development experience.
- A bachelor's degree plus two or more years of software engineering experience, a master's degree plus one or more years, or a PhD in a related field.
