Analyst, Energy Transition & Strategy Advisory Lloyd’s Register Location: Miami, US What we’re looking for Support clients across the maritime value chain in addressing complex strategic, commercial and energy transition challenges. Contribute to advisory projects covering management consulting solutions, energy transition strategies, market assessments and business case development, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary technical, regulatory, and commercial experts to deliver diverse advisory projects. You will contribute to high-quality client deliverables, including reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations, as part of a team that blends deep industry knowledge with practical insight into sector transformation to support safe, commercially sound, and sustainable solutions for maritime operations. Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to develop evidence-based insights and recommendations for clients. Collaborate with internal experts and external stakeholders to solve research and analysis challenges, identifying alternative approaches and solutions where appropriate. Deliver required analytical inputs within agreed timelines, scope, and contractual parameters. Prepare outputs in defined formats suitable for consulting deliverables. Document research methodologies, data sources, assumptions, and findings, conducting structured analysis that is transparent, verifiable, and defensible. Work closely with technical, regulatory, and commercial experts to deliver integrated client solutions. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards. Contribute ideas to the continuous improvement of analytical methods, tools, and advisory services. What you bring Bachelor's degree (minimum) from a recognised university in Maritime Business, Economics/Finance, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline. Previous exposure in maritime energy transition decarbonisation or related technical and policy matters within maritime industry High proficiency in English with solid writing skills. Computer literacy with Microsoft products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in demanding environments. Solid verbal communication and presentation skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to think in a structured way while maintaining close attention to detail. Comfortable adjusting to new tasks and changing priorities. Willingness to work from other LR or client office locations when required. Motivated to deliver results that are both effective and sustainable. Nice to have Curious, initiative-taking, and solutions-oriented. Comfortable working with data, ambiguity, and complex problem-solving. Interested in consulting, strategy, maritime, and/or energy transition. Keen to learn from experienced professionals.
