Evaluate potential energy savings and demand reduction opportunities, including operational changes and capital measures.
Analyze interval (15-min/hourly) utility and sub-meter data to characterize load profiles, identify demand charge drivers, and detect anomalies.
Execute MBCx workflows including baseline establishment, ongoing performance monitoring, and savings persistence verification; identify and present operational ECMs to facility stakeholders.
Support the development and implementation of campus metering systems (electricity, gas, steam, chilled water); develop specifications and single-line diagrams; oversee meter commissioning and EMIS/DAS integration.
Configure, deploy, and manage FDD rule sets within EMIS/analytics platforms; triage and prioritize fault alerts and develop fault impact estimates to support O&M decision-making.
Measure and verify performance of energy management programs over time.
Deliver clear technical reports and presentations translating complex analytics into actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy engineering, building performance analysis, or related discipline.
Travel Required.
Additional Qualifications
CEM, CMVP, or CCP certification.
Prior customer-facing or consulting experience.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting, retro-commissioning, or monitoring based commissioning of HVAC systems and central cooling and heating plants.
Familiar with measurement and verification methods and protocols.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $80,900 – $128,750 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role.
Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. This range supports our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable laws. Compensation may vary by work location, including remote arrangements.
