The Energy Data Analyst will work with energy, carbon, and usage data for a client portfolio.

The role
- Own client energy data end-to-end, including collection, invoicing, and producing journals through SystemsLink.
- Work with clients and suppliers to investigate and resolve data issues.
- Build Power BI reports covering consumption, spend, and carbon data, including live reporting.
- Identify anomalies and gaps and investigate them through to a proper explanation.
- Build client relationships and challenge information that does not reconcile.
- Expand into carbon reporting and wider datasets as confidence and skills develop.
About you
- Some background in energy or utilities, including brokerage, supplier, consultancy, or a wider utility and data environment.
- A curious and detail-oriented approach to understanding why numbers do not reconcile.
- Confidence communicating with and building relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Electricity metering knowledge, ideally including MHHS or AMR exposure, is a plus.
- SystemsLink experience is a strong plus, while Power BI exposure is helpful.
Package
- The package states a salary of £32,000.
- The role includes a funded Data Analyst course after the employee is established.
Working arrangement
- The role is described as hybrid and based from a Brighton office.
- Remote working flexibility is available once the employee is settled in.
Onboarding and development
- The first six months include structured onboarding focused on learning the role and systems.
- The position provides exposure to live client portfolios, carbon reporting, and measurement and verification.
