Job Summary and Purpose
Support the review, updating, and enhancement of employee relations policies and procedures.
Perform day-to-day employee relations services in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Propose and participate in improvements to the ERP and other employee relations systems.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to the Head of Employee Relations.
- Has no direct reportees.
Employee Relations Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate employee information, records, documents, and files, including confidential employee files.
- Process employee status, remuneration, organizational assignment, and employee relations service requests.
- Respond to employee inquiries and prepare employment-related memos, letters, and agreements.
- Communicate policy, procedure, and regulation updates to employees and support new employee mobilization.
- Coordinate payroll, benefits, health insurance, life insurance, and workmen compensation matters.
- Support audits, process related requisitions and vendor payments, and generate HR reports.
- Coordinate HR system enhancements, configuration, and testing with the IT development team.
- Complete employee separation and demobilization activities, including final settlements, exit interviews, and travel arrangements.
Generic Accountabilities
- Adhere to relevant safety, health, environment, and quality policies, procedures, instructions, and controls.
- Follow departmental policies, processes, and procedures to ensure controlled and consistent work.
- Carry out other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of related experience in a similar position, preferably in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of HR-ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
