Embedded Software Verification Engineer

In this role, you will support the development and verification of embedded software used within Kearfott’s guidance, navigation, and control products. The Embedded Software Verification Engineer will work closely with software, systems, and test engineering teams to translate software requirements into executable test cases, develop and automate verification solutions, and ensure software functionality is thoroughly verified against its requirements.

This position is well suited for a software engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of embedded software development, software verification, and test automation. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining verification environments, translating test procedures into automated and repeatable tests, analyzing test results, investigating failures, and supporting the documentation and traceability required for aerospace and defense software development.

The successful candidate will also apply hands-on software development and verification experience to influence and implement future Kearfott software architectures and designs, with an emphasis on testability, maintainability, modularity, and automated verification.
