- Troubleshoot and diagnose any failure or problem in elevators
- Repair faults on elevator components such as motor, electrical/electronic control brakes, gears, guide rails, ropes, and cabin
- Carry out all preventive maintenance works as per schedule
- Initiate fault reports to foreman
- Fill necessary preventive maintenance forms
- Prepare list of spare parts needed
- Follow safety instructions related to elevator repair and in service stage
- Conduct all types of test/calibration and alignment
Requirements
- 1 6 years of experience as an elevator technician
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose elevator failures
- Ability to read catalogues and layouts
- Knowledge of safety instructions related to elevator repair
