About the Role: We are seeking a skilled electromechanical engineer to join the AX8 development team. This role focuses on the design, evaluation, assembly, and testing of a 400V, 16 kW DC in-wheel motor specifically developed for the AX8 Electric UTV.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and optimize the design of DC in-wheel motors (400V, 16 kW).
Oversee the winding, potting, and assembly processes of the motor.
Test motor performance against design specifications, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Collaborate with the broader engineering team to iterate and refine motor assembly and integration.
Provide guidance on materials, potting compounds, and manufacturing best practices.
