Responsibilities
- Receive and review job cards and work instructions from the Workshop Supervisor
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs within allocated time while maintaining high quality standards
- Complete all assigned work as specified in the job card and accurately complete, sign, and submit all required checklists and documentation
- Notify the Workshop Supervisor promptly when spare parts, materials, or additional resources are required
- Refer to technical manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation to ensure repairs are carried out according to approved procedures
- Identify additional defects, repair requirements, or non conformities during the repair process and report them immediately to the Workshop Supervisor
- Ensure all repaired vehicles or equipment are clean, fully functional, and all systems, accessories, and settings are restored before handover
- Follow manufacturer specifications, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times
- Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (QHSEMS) requirements and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Ability to diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs within allocated time
- Experience with light vehicle electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems
