Job Purpose

  • To ensure accurate, timely and compliant processing of warranty claims, maximizing warranty recovery while maintaining manufacturer's standards and supporting organizations profitability

Key Responsibilities

  • Review repair orders for warranty eligibility
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of supporting warranty documents
  • Coordinate with manufacturer for prior approval as required
  • Prepare technical failure reports per OEM warranty format
  • Prepare, submit and monitor warranty claims through manufacturer’s warranty portal
  • Ensure claims comply with OEM policy
  • Follow up on return/rejected warranty claims and resubmit with corrective actions
  • Maintain all warranty records for audit purposes
  • Ensure proper storage of warranty failed parts with tags
  • Follow up payments/credit notes against approved claims
  • Review Warranty WIP job cards and coordinate with workshop team
  • Scrap warranty parts per manufacturer guidelines
