Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including daily equipment patrol inspection, scheduled spot checks, and lubrication operations
- Replace wear prone components such as belts, rollers, bearings, chains
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve common mechanical faults
- Maintain warehouse lighting systems to meet UAE safety standards
- Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, equipment exploded view diagrams, and installation manuals
- Operate common hand tools and measuring instruments ensuring compliance with tool safety regulations
- Perform sensor alignment and parameter calibration
- Replace electrical components in accordance with DEWA safety procedures, including adjusting VFD parameters
- Conduct electrical spot checks and troubleshooting of warehouse wiring systems
- Diagnose and handle motor malfunctions such as overload, phase loss, overheating, and insulation degradation
- Read electrical schematic diagrams, I/O point lists, wiring diagrams, and DEWA compliance technical documents
- Operate professional testing instruments including multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and phase sequence meters
Requirements
- Experience in electrical maintenance in a warehouse or industrial setting
- Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and electrical schematic diagrams
- Basic PLC literacy and ability to replace electrical components
- Knowledge of DEWA safety procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments

Job Overview
- One of our elite client is looking for an Electrical Technician (Warehouse).
Duties & Responsibilities
- To perform routine maintenance tasks, including daily equipment patrol inspection, scheduled spot checks, and lubrication operations in accordance with warehouse operational protocols.
- Replacement of wear prone components (e.g., belts, rollers, bearings, chains); diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of common mechanical faults; maintenance of warehouse lighting systems to meet UAE safety standards.
- To read and interpreting mechanical assembly drawings, equipment exploded view diagrams, as well as installation and adjustment manuals for warehouse equipment.
- Operating common hand tools and measuring instruments, including wrenches, torque wrenches, distance meters, and spirit levels, ensuring compliance with tool safety regulations.
- Sensor alignment and parameter calibration to ensure equipment accuracy.
- Basic PLC literacy; capable of replacing electrical components in accordance with DEWA safety procedures, including adjusting VFD parameters as instructed.
- Electrical spot checks and troubleshooting of warehouse wiring systems, with the ability to document fault causes and solutions.
- Diagnosis and preliminary handling of motor malfunctions, such as overload, phase loss, overheating, and insulation degradation.
- To read electrical schematic diagrams, I/O point lists, wiring diagrams, and DEWA compliance technical documents.
- To Distinguish between: control power supply vs. main power supply; PNP/NPN sensors; normally open (NO) vs. normally closed (NC) contacts, to avoid electrical safety hazards.
- Operating professional testing instruments in line with DEWA safety testing protocols, including multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and phase sequence meters.
