KBR is seeking an Electrical Technician II for maintenance activities in an oil and gas environment.
Maintenance Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily instrument maintenance activities for plant systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Act as the focal point for the daily instrument maintenance execution plan.
- Lead technicians assigned to the designated area.
- Receive directions from the instrument foreman and translate them into maintenance actions.
Execution and Reporting
- Ensure technicians follow safety and quality procedures during instrument maintenance activities.
- Conduct site visits to verify work execution and inspect routine maintenance activities.
- Track maintenance progress, submit reports and recommendations, and maintain work records.
- Prepare work completion reports where applicable.
Reliability and Safety
- Recommend and implement changes to improve instrument system availability and reliability.
- Assist with engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment.
- Enforce policies, procedures, regulations, and safety precautions during onsite maintenance.
- Ensure personnel have the training, resources, equipment, and tools required for safe maintenance.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of instrument system maintenance and repair is required.
- Knowledge of instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance is required.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems is required.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles is required.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards is required.
Qualifications
- At least six years of oil and gas maintenance experience with a high school qualification, or at least four years with a diploma, is required.
- A valid certification from a recognized third-party body or accredited Saudi institute is required.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management for oil and gas facilities is required.
- Proven leadership skills in large organizations are required.
Additional Requirements
- Good command of spoken and written English is required.
- The role requires flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA.
- The role requires organization, proactive communication, judgment under pressure, problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
