Electrical Technician

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and Daily visual inspections on major
• data center equipment.
• Daily checking healthiness of all facilities equipment’s (UPS, LV Panels, Switchgears, Busway
• systems, BMS, DCIM, Controllers, ELV Systems) and Keeping daily logs and records of all
• maintenance functions.
• Repair and maintenance work on a wide range of electrical equipment.
• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility electrical, and ELV systems.
• Maintain, operate all Electrical systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, building
• management system.
• Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Create the Job cards in CAFM (FSI) Mobile App as per Site requirements and close the Job cards
• which Supervisor assigns.
• Responding promptly and efficiently to emergencies calls.
• Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken;
• Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Electrical systems, ELV system, fire/life
• safety, and other systems.
• Should be able to comply with HSE norms and understand the PTW process.
• Should be able to working in shifts (24X7).
• Should be able to drive the operational requirements with minimum supervision and guidance.
• Should understand the criticality of business uptime to serve the Data center facility operations.
• Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
• Maintain essential stock of spare parts.
• Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required
• Attend training sessions and seminars.
• Other assigned tasks as requested.
