As an Electrician Technician, this role sits within the team responsible for maintaining the critical infrastructure that keeps Sydney Airport operating smoothly. This 6-month max-term contract position plays an important role in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient movement of passengers through the airport experience. Oversee the operation and electrical maintenance of Baggage Handling Systems to support continuity of service

Perform fault finding and carry out both emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance across BHS equipment

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth system performance, including during contingencies

Provide technical input to resolve complex system issues and support operational decision-making

Ensure all activities are conducted in line with safety, quality, and environmental requirements

Support ongoing system reliability through proactive identification of risks and improvement opportunities
