- Supervise the operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of substations, MV/LV underground cable networks, electrical distribution, generators, UPS, and battery banks to minimize downtime.
- Schedule and manage routine site inspections, including infrared thermography, transformer oil tests, and protection relay testing.
- Lead field diagnostics, specify repair methods, and direct skilled technicians to ensure maximum resource utilization.
- Organize service schedules, assign field teams, and coordinate continuous 24/7 shift patterns as required.
- Monitor and report monthly energy consumption; manage maintenance inventory and prepare material requisitions.
- Ensure all operations strictly comply with TAQA regulations, local electrical codes, and EHS safety standards.
- Provide operational data to FM leadership to support maintenance planning, budgeting, and asset lifecycle decisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to streamline communication between internal teams, management, and external vendors.
Requirements
- 8 13 years of experience in electrical supervision, preferably in facilities management or utilities
- Experience in operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of substations, MV/LV networks, generators, UPS, and battery banks
- Knowledge of TAQA regulations, local electrical codes, and EHS safety standards
- Ability to lead field diagnostics and direct skilled technicians
- Proficiency in maintenance inventory management and material requisitions
