Role Overview
KEO is seeking an Electrical Inspector to join its team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role focuses on contractor inspections, drawing and specification compliance, site quality and safety monitoring, documentation, and technical issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Attend contractor Inspection Requests and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
- Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practice.
- Report non-compliant contractor work to stakeholders for appropriate action.
- Monitor work quality and assess site safety, health, and environmental issues.
- Maintain daily site activity records and progress photographs for inspection.
- Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies and non-conformance reports when required.
- Ensure effective coordination between electrical work and all other disciplines.
- Provide technical input to resolve discipline-related site issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Nine years of work experience.
- Experience working on large-scale villas projects in the UAE.
