Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Electrical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for supervising and continuously improving the availability of production equipment for paper machines.
As a technical specialist within the electrical maintenance team, you will contribute to troubleshooting, modifications, equipment installations, obsolescence planning & upgrading.
What You Can Expect…
- Supervising teams responsible for electrical and electrotechnical maintenance, as well as contractors.
- Evaluating the skills of the electrical maintenance team.
- Encouraging employee involvement in problem-solving.
- Overseeing tasks performed by subcontractors or external contractors and preparing administrative reports.
- Following safe work procedures and informing your supervisor of any hazards or risks in the workplace.
- Implementing new preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ensuring proper functioning of production equipment, analyzing recurring failures, recommending corrective actions, and supervising their execution.
- Participating in planning and organizing training activities for electrical and electrotechnical maintenance staff.
