As an Electrical Engineer IV, you'll serve as a senior technical authority across multiple hardware programs, setting electrical design direction for ruggedized, AI-integrated electronics and leading engineers through complex development efforts.
Lead electrical architecture across multiple concurrent programs, including mixed-signal PCBs, embedded controllers, and custom sensor interfaces
Define electrical requirements and design standards at the program level; drive design decisions balancing performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for hardware design reviews, customer technical discussions, and cross-functional trade studies
Integrate embedded processors, FPGAs, sensors, and power subsystems across multifunctional platforms; set the technical direction for hardware/firmware integration with software teams
Mentor and provide technical oversight to EE I-III engineers across projects; review their designs and guide their professional development
Lead root cause investigations on complex hardware failures and drive corrective action plans across programs

Own vendor and manufacturing partner relationships for PCB fabrication, assembly, and DFM at a program level; guide lifecycle and obsolescence planning strategy
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, plus 7-9 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated track record leading complex board-level and system-level electrical designs from concept through production
Deep working knowledge of low-power design, sensor integration, and signal conditioning
Strong familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., MIL-STD-461, IPC-610, ISO, ITAR/EAR)

Experience with optics and multispectral digital imaging systems
MIL-STD or DO-160 EMC design and test experience
Knowledge of programmable logic design, or signal/power integrity design
Experience transitioning products into full production and shipping at scale
Low-level firmware experience, particularly for bring-up and testing
Privately held defense and aerospace R&D company developing optical sensors, AI/ML, and autonomous systems for government customers.
