About the Role
Parsons Corporation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer (Infrastructure) to join their team in Dubai. The role involves performing conventional and moderately-complex engineering assignments, supervising engineering products, and coordinating with Dubai local authorities (DEWA).

- Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements
- Defines the problem, establishes work scope, prepares budget and schedule, plans work, provides technical direction, and reports work status
- Creates detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses
- Provides support for other engineering activities as required
- May supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance
- May be assigned as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate size project
- Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers
- Reviews drawing & design before DEWA approval submittal and follows up with Contractor and DEWA for approval
- Coordinates with DEWA/contractor for execution of LV/HV work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering discipline
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate may be required
- 15+ years of managing construction and supervising of building projects and infrastructure works
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with third party client, consultants, contractors, and local authorities
- Experience in dealing with government authorities such as DEWA, RTA, DM etc.
- Thorough knowledge of DEWA regulations and standards
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications
- Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering

Job Description
- Electrical Engineer (Infrastructure)

What You'll Be Doing
- Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.
- Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
- Provides support for other engineering activities as required. May supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.
- May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate size project.
- Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers working on the same project.
- Experience and familiarity with Dubai Local Authorities’ (DEWA) procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements.
- Review the drawing & design before DEWA approval submittal. Follow up with Contractor as well as DEWA for getting approval to maintain all files and records on designated forms/format. Ensure that the contractor is not relieved of his responsibility without client authorization.
- Coordinate with DEWA/contractor for execution of LV/HV work.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.
- In addition, an Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate may be required.
