Role Description
The Electrical Engineer designs, installs, tests, maintains, and troubleshoots electrical systems and equipment.
The role supports safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant operation of electrical installations and systems.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems, circuits, equipment, installations, drawings, layouts, specifications, calculations, and documentation.
- Install, inspect, test, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
- Monitor power distribution systems, panels, generators, motors, and control systems.
- Review technical submissions, conduct site inspections, and coordinate with engineering, construction, maintenance, and project teams.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and equipment manufacturers.
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
- Support project planning, scheduling, cost control, emergency response, system recovery, and equipment breakdown activities.
- Identify measures to improve electrical reliability, energy efficiency, safety, system performance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in electrical engineering, installation, maintenance, or project engineering is preferred.
