AMWAJ Group of Companies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, review, and maintain electrical systems and power distribution networks.
The role is based in Ras Laffan and involves preparing technical drawings, performing load calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, review, and maintain electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting AMWAJ’s facilities and operations.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform load calculations and system analysis.
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and HSE requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Oversee installation and commissioning activities.
- Support preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability and safety of electrical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Experience in Camp Operations for 5 years.
- Willing to reside in Ras Laffan camp.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with international and local electrical codes, standards, and HSE practices.
